Autonomous Edge Node

Tilt and vibration.
One wireless sensor.

A self-contained sensor for harsh sites, from construction zones to ports. The site crew does not need to set anything up.

▲ ASENSE

Nothing else to install.

No external power supply, no cabling, no local network. The sensor, the processor and the LTE-M modem are all inside one sealed unit.

Mounts Anywhere

Mount it on fencing, piers or retaining walls. It needs no power cable or network, so installation is quick and cheap.

Long Battery Life

Runs continuously on an internal industrial battery. Add the optional solar panel and it can run indefinitely.

Built-in LTE-M

Connects securely to the cloud as soon as it is switched on. No site Wi-Fi or gateway needed.

Algorithmic Flexibility

One chassis.
Endless algorithms.

The same hardware works as a tiltmeter, an accelerometer, a vibrometer or a displacement sensor. Some processing runs on the sensor and some in the cloud, depending on the job.

Triaxial Tiltmeter

Measures tilt to less than a milliradian. For pier settlement, retaining wall movement and deep excavations.

Algorithmic Processing

Modal Accelerometer

Very low noise, so it picks up the natural vibration of a structure. Used for Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) of bridges and wind turbines.

Algorithmic Processing

Triaxial Vibrometer

Calculates Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) on the sensor, to track vibration from heavy construction or blasting before it causes damage.

Algorithmic Processing

Dynamic Displacement

Calculates how far the structure moves (in mm) during a vibration event.

Algorithmic Processing
Tilt+0.42 mrad
Temperature42.1 °C
Wind14 m/s
Structural Context

Eliminate
false positives.

A bridge expands in the midday sun. A mast sways in a gale. Movement isn't always a defect—often, it's just physics.

Each node also measures temperature, and can connect a wind meter. This shows which movements come from the weather and which come from real changes in the structure.

Connect more sensors.

Add a wind meter, other digital sensors or analog instruments to the node. We set it up for your site.

RS485 Wind Meter

Plug in a wind meter to compare wind with sway and tilt.

Serial Bus

Connect other digital sensors to the node.

Analog Amplifiers

Inputs for strain gauges, load cells and other analog instruments.
